Long peppers are native to Java and are known for their intensely spicy flavor. These long peppers are picked while green and tossed with salt so that they ferment as they age. The result is a spicy, salty, artichoke like pepper flavor. Use whole or chop up and add to salads or fruit. This product comes to us from La Plantation, a farm in Cambodia., and is from their last harvest so we only have a limited supply.
