We have been trying to get ahead of tariffs since January. Unfortunately, the current tariff system is something we could not foresee and cannot understand. We're doing our best to work with our importers to try to minimize price increases and continue to have product in stock. Many are pausing shipping to the US until they know how long the tariffs will last. It is likely in the next few months that a few of our products will go out of stock. Tea comes from China, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, India. There aren't commercially available domestic versions of nutmeg, peppercorns, cinnamon, hing. Our shop is built on a love of discovering the world around us, not punishing it. This is profoundly dumb.
The Tariff Collection
A rotating collection of spices and teas that U.S. businesses will now have to pay higher tariffs on to bring into America.
