Marjoram has an almost sweet thyme like flavor and can be an ingredient in bouquet garni - a combination of fresh or dried herbs used to flavor stocks, casseroles, meats and vegetables. Marjoram pairs well with parsley, bay leaf, tarragon, and any recipe that calls for oregano can benefit from a dash of marjoram. Try adding to braised lamb, meatballs, tomato based sauces, shrimp or pasta. Sprinkle on top of your cheese board with olive or honey.
