This nutmeg comes in its shell, keeping it fresher for longer. Make sure to crack the shell before using - a nutcracker or rolling pin will work fine to crack the thin skin. Take out the inner nutmeg and start grating over cream sauces, pastas, and desserts. Nutmeg's warm flavor can go both savory and sweet and should be used year round. Whether in summer greens, winter pumpkins, or spring pies, nutmeg is a spice for all seasons.
This single origin Nutmeg is grown in Tamil Nadu on a permaculture farm and is brought to America by single origin importer Diaspora Co.

Items ordered by ounces or pounds are packed into one bulk bag. For example, if you order 5 ounces of peppercorns, you will receive one bag with 5 ounces of peppercorns inside. If you would like individual 1 oz bags, please add a note to your order at check out. All of our zipper bags can be composted at home.
