This Cinnamon comes from the Cinnamomum loureiroi tree, an heirloom variety of Cinnamon, and is related to Cassia. It has a spicy, intense aroma and flavor and has an oil content of 4%. It can used in sweet or savory dishes and pairs nicely with cardamom, clove, nutmeg, ginger, and allspice. Combine with cocoa for a spiced cup of chocolate or spiced plate of lamb meatballs. Flavor your next bowl of Pho Bo or sprinkle on to a batch of granola.
