This single origin Black Cardamom comes already ground to you can easily add the intensely, smokey, earthy flavor to spice blends and long simmered dishes. Add a sprinkle to coffee or sweet breads to give another dimension in flavor to your dish.
A group of farmers lead by Sahu Saioji in Silma Marak, (northeastern India) grow these black cardamom pods as a part of a Farmer Producer Organization which supports farmers with marketing, processing, and other aspects of selling their product.
Available in bulk by weight or in prepacked containers. Bulk orders are packed into one bag unless otherwise requested.

If you would like individual 1 oz bags, please add a note to your order at check out. All of our zipper bags can be composted at home.
