Black Chia Seeds, Organic

Chia has a nutty flavor and can be eaten on their own or as an addition to your snack mix. They add a great crunch to cereals, breads, and salads. Chia is also a favorite to use for its thickening abilities. Chia will absorb liquid and take on a gel like texture. Use in jams and jellies when you do not want to use pectin or smoothies and juices. 1 tablespoon of chia seeds soaked with 2-3 tablespoons of water can be used to replace eggs in baking.
