Like many 2nd flush Darjeelings, the Castleton is a complex and full bodied cup of tea with Darjeeling's signature muscatel flavor and copper red color. Harvested in June in an estate near Kurseong, this tea is characterized by its high grade and long tea leaves. Castleton takes milk and sugar well and works as both a morning or robust afternoon tea.
Brewing Suggestion: Brew 1 tsp per 8 oz of water at 200°F for 3-5 minutes.
