A specialty black tea, Jin Hou tea leaves have a light golden fuzz on them and are said to resemble monkey paws. This tea is characterized by its high quality large leaves and the high number of golden tips. The tea is processed each spring with one leaf and one bud being carefully plucked at a time. This tea brews a full-bodied cup with notes of cocoa, honey, and peach.
Brewing Suggestion: Brew 1 tsp per 8 oz of water at 185°-195°F for 3-4 minutes.
1 oz makes approximately 20 cups.
