Makrut lime leaves have a strong floral flavor, with hints of citrus. While not as pungent as fresh, they are a good substitute and will impart their aromatic lime flavor well into soups and chicken dishes.
Lime leaves can be used whole and removed just like bay leaves, shredded into small pieces, or ground into powder.
