Lemon, Freeze Dried

Freeze dried lemons can be used whole, crushed, rehydrated or in powder to add a wonderful citrus flavor to your water, teas, cakes, and cookies. We love the convenience of having these dried lemons; it saves us from accidentally leaving half used lemons in the back of the fridge only to discover the lemon months later with penicillin has growing on it. Also the process of freeze drying helps maintain the sweet and tartness of the fruit without too much of the bitterness that you will get from lemon peel dried normally, making it great for sweet treats.
