Long Pepper, Organic

Long Pepper has a similar flavor to black peppercorns, with hints of sweet ginger, and a spicier heat level. You can use whole in long simmering dishes but it is more often ground. Use in place of black pepper but in smaller amounts because of the more intense heat. While you can use Long Pepper in spicy dishes and curries, try also sprinkling on raw vegetables and fruit desserts.
