Oatstraw is indeed a part of the plant that produces our breakfast oats. Oatstraw will produce an earthy, soothing tisane full of minerals like calcium, magnesium, and other vitamins. Try combining with other soothing herbs such as chamomile or mint.
Brewing Suggestion: 1 tbls per 8 oz of water for 3-7 minutes.
For infusions, cover 1 ounce of oatstraw with boiling water. Cover and let steep over night or 4-6 hours. Strain and enjoy.
