Rose has a light floral aroma and will bring richness to your next tea or dish. It is not as forward as a flavor as lavender and tends to blend well with other spices while adding a nice hue. It is often used in Middle Eastern and Indian dishes and is an ingredient in ras al hanout and advieh. Combine rose with your favorite tea, as we have in our Gita Anjali Chai. Use them to make your own rose water. Grind with sugar to top desserts. Add with lime powder to stews. Rose goes particularly well with warm and sweet spices like cinnamon, cardamom, clove and ginger.
