Also known as wu-wei-zi, schisandra berries are the five flavored fruit - at once, imparting a salty, sour, sweet, bitter and warm flavor. It has long been used as a revitalizing tea. Simmer in water with other spices or try a cold infusion overnight, steeping in either warm or fruit juice.
