Yellow mustard has a slightly spicy, pungent flavor. Use whole seeds to flavor pickling brines, infuse oils, crust tuna or garnish salads when toasted. Use yellow mustard powder when roasting vegetables, making rice, or roasting meats. Add to caramelized onions, barbeque rubs, and curry powders. Mustard pairs well with bay leaves and caraway seeds. Make your own mustard by combing whole brown seeds with yellow mustard powder, vinegar, and salt.
